INNOVATIVE REPAIR AND REUSE SCHEME TO LAUNCH IN PEMBROKESHIRE
A new share, repair and reuse network is to be developed in Pembrokeshire, delivering green, social, community and employment benefits in one go!
The network is led by Pembrokeshire County Council through Norman Industries working alongside the Regeneration Department with
Grwp Resilience,
Paul Sartori, Pembrokeshire College, Clynfyw Care Farm, TYF St Davids, , Scolton Manor, Pembrokeshire’s Social Activity Centres and a range of local charities and social enterprises.
PEMBROKESHIRE PLOTS
At the end of 2020 Grwp Resilience were awarded a grant from Pembrokeshire County Council as part of
to enhance our community under a project called Pembrokeshire Plots.
Through funded improvements to land for community benefit
(eg allotments, community and forest gardens)
Pembs Plots ambition is to connect all corners of our community, bringing together expertise and passion for managing allotments and community lands, in harmony with nature and for the benefit of the people of Pembrokeshire.

Here are some of our projects

PENALLY CRISIS
In September 2020, 200 asylum seekers arrived at the military barracks in Penally. We gave them the tools to form their own organisation for self help and to help the host community. They have organised classes in the camp and volunteering in the rural countryside. They have addressed individual needs for medical help, English lessons and friendship with locals.
