A food fair to showcase innovative local produce (wines, oils, sea plant food, oatmeal and local milk, veg, fruit, meat, cheese and cooked and preserved foods) held at multiple venues across Newport. All Welcome - Residents, long term visitors and holiday makers that make up our unique community!

About the Event
The Maeth o'r Fro food fair aims to showcase innovative local produce, and will feature some special guests, to be announced nearer the date, with a chance for you to taste local produce and talk to producers.
Event starting at the memorial hall and spreading out to local venues (cafes, restaurants, and farms)
Over a week (29th October to 5th November) local restaurants and cafes will be cooking up meals using local produce. With the memorial hall opening its doors and the event on the 29th hosting producers & chefs, giving you the chance to buy and sample their wares.
Come hear the story & visit local farms
On the 29th at the Hall hear the story of how we support people and planetary health, by using produce of the local land. You can by special invite visit local gardens and farms producing as part of this new initiative.

You are invited to join the judges to select the best, most surprising, nutritious, delectable, filling, climate positive food offerings! Register to join the judges
Maeth o'r Fro seeks to build a local food culture one that that secures a future that nourishes us, honouring nature, food purity, climate and community.
New products will launch at the event, and you can be the first to taste them.
