About the Event

As part of works funded by the Community Renewal Fund Grwp Resilience hopes to seed the Community Plan for a Resilient Carbon free County.

The discussion at 3pm will hear different views including the voice of caution,  Mike Stoddart, will present the opposition to a swift exit from a fossil fuel economy. We will hear from Cris Tomos, currently cabinet member for the environment, Steve Keating lead officer for sustainability and net zeron in the council, and Sian Vaughan, activist. 

The event will be hosted at Haverhub’s great hall, outdoor courtyard, kitchen and meeting areas will showcase our green and nature based businesses.

There will be talks and small discussion circles to join, rural skills to try out.  The content for the day is growing, offers and suggestions are welcome.

  • Jones the Thatch: Hear the story of ancient wheat from our world expert and make a rope from straw, unity is strength!
